To celebrate the launch of its I’m Lovin ‘It Live music event, McDonald’s has launched a new half-price offer.
The agreement allows new users of the My McDonald’s app get 50% off their menu, while anyone else with the app can claim £ 5 off orders of £ 15 or more.
To take advantage of the 50% offer, you must register for the McDonald’s app between 12:01 am today (October 26, 2020) and 11:59 pm on November 1, 2020.
This gives you 50% off an order at participating restaurants when you purchase something from the “Deals” section of the app within 36 days of signing up. You must also be at least 16 years old.
Although you can only use it once, the second offer can be used as many times as you want in a week for new and existing customers.
To get £ 5 from orders £ 15 and over you need to reuse the MyMcDonald’s app (make sure it’s updated as well).
Once there, head to the “Deals” tab at the bottom and you should see the Spend and Savings offer (pictured above).
The deal only works on things you find there – so meal deals are available, but Happy Meals and calorie-restricted meals are included, along with all burgers, chicken, drinks, sides and McFlurry’s on the menu. .
Once you have added your selection to your cart, if it reaches £ 15 or more then £ 5 is automatically withdrawn at checkout.
The deal works on anything ordered this way until 11:59 p.m. on November 1, 2020 at participating restaurants.
The discounts are part of the new McDonald’s festival – I’m Lovin ‘It Live – offering three nights of music with Becky Hill, Lewis Capaldi and Stormzy available for free through the app.
There’s also a free McD’s merchandising festival giveaway – including thousands of Lovin ‘it Live hoodies, bucket hats, jumpsuits, and golden rubber boots – that you can enter here.
Michelle Graham-Clare, McDonald’s vice president of food and beverage, product development and marketing, said: “We know the new normal is tough on everyone.
“I’m Lovin ‘it Live is our way of saying thank you to our employees and customers for all their support this year.
“I hope our week of good things and good times offers something for everyone, from fun-looking families to music fans who miss the concert scene.”
