PATNA: The Board of Directors of Patna Smart City Limited (PSCL), at its meeting on Saturday, made several important decisions aimed at improving civic amenities in the city.
Decisions were made for the lighting of the facades of all buildings around Gandhi Maidan, new smart roads of Beerchand Patel Marg and Vidyut Bhawan, Happy Streets near Gandhi Maidan and public transport stands at 10 locations. In addition, instructions have been issued to start the bidding process for the 3D mural in the city.
PSCL President and Principal Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department Anand Kishor told the meeting that the bidding process for all projects sanctioned before this month should be launched by the end. of this month.
PSCL General Manager and Patna Municipal Commissioner Himashu Sharma presented updates of ongoing projects during the meeting.
During deliberations on the Adalatganj Pond Redevelopment Project, Sharma said the beautification work has been completed and the installation of a water fountain and laser show is underway. Kishor asked officials to complete the project by May.
The UDHD Principal Secretary also asked officials to complete the work to start the bidding process for an integrated command and control center in four days.
Giving instructions on the redevelopment of the area around Gandhi Maidan, Kishor asked officials to start the bidding process to give SK Memorial Hall a facelift in three days. He asked officials to initiate the bidding process for Happy Streets near Gandhi Maidan, where various activities are offered to be held on a stretch of road for about an hour once a week.
